Janet Gwilliam Sanders – Company Secretary

Janet has been involved with the Scheme since 1993, originally as Chair of the Steering Group that secured the initial funding for Home-Start and since 1995 as a member of staff. Her working life has always been based around the needs of children and before joining Home-Start she worked in a number of residential homes in both London and Bristol. In addition, as qualified teacher, she has carried out roles within a number of local Nursery and Special Education Schools. Janet has experience of supporting people of all ages through The Salvation Army where she has worked with children and teenagers, formed a vibrant parents and toddlers group and most recently provided social events and support for older adults.

In addition to her social work and teaching qualification Janet holds a NVQ Level 4 in Management.

Tracey Witham – Senior Co-ordinator

Tracey first became involved with Home-Start in 2010 as a volunteer during which time she completed a BA (Hons) degree in Social and Community Development at the University of Northampton, where her continued dedication to volunteering with our Scheme was recognised through the University’s ‘Star Awards’ for volunteers.
Tracey has been a permanent member of staff since 2013 and during this time she has developed a keen interest in children living with autism and has attended a range of training courses to both enhance her knowledge and develop her skills in supporting families affected by the condition.

Rachel Tilley - Co-ordinator

Rachel has been associated with the Scheme as both a volunteer and member of staff. She holds a PGCE in Primary Education specialising in Early Years. In 2014 Rachel ran the London Marathon raising just over £800 for Home-Start Wellingborough & District.
